On July 29th, official Twitter Account of Ministry of Culture announced, “Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (I/C) announced that opening hours of 10 historical Monuments across the country has been increased and now these Monuments will remain open from Sunrise to 9 pm for common public.” This decision has come around to boost tourism and allow visitors to explore the monuments for longer hours. In the first phase, 10 monuments are approved and more such monuments are under consideration to extend their closing time.
1. Rajarani Temple Complex, Bhubaneshwar – More Time To Explore The Temple Metropolis of Orissa

3. Sheikh Chilli’s Tomb, Kurukshetra – Take Your Sweet Time At The Archaeological Museum

Initial Timings: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: No entry fee
4. Safdarjung Tomb, Delhi – Relish The Tranquil Ambience At This Enormous Dome

Time Required: 1 – 2 hrs
Initial Timings: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Entry Fee: Indian- INR 15; Foreigners- INR 200; (Children up to 15 years – Free Entry); Video Shooting- INR 25

Initial Timings: 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM
